Article 1 (Definitions)

Except as defined below, the terms used in these Terms and Conditions shall have the meanings set forth in the “First Accounting Service Basic Terms and Conditions” and the “Robota Service Terms of Use.”

1. “Remota Service” refers to the web service operated by the Company that possesses the functions specified in Article 3, Paragraph 1.
2. “Remota Terms” refers to these Terms (posted on the Company’s website and updated from time to time; upon update, the updated Remota Terms shall apply) and any rules regarding the use of the Remota Service that the Company establishes in connection with the Remota Service and notifies to users individually or publishes on the Company’s website.

Article 2 (Application)

In addition to the First Accounting Service Basic Terms and Conditions, the Robota Service Terms of Use and the Remota Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the Remota Service.

Article 3 (Purpose and Content of the Service)

1. The Remota Service is a web service designed to provide users with an interface for using Robota, and its basic functions are as follows. Users of the Remota Service may use all or part of the service in accordance with the provisions of their individual contracts.
   1. Receipt of form data and integration with Robota
   2. Editing of response data (e.g., modifications) via Robota
   3. External integration of generated data
   4. Workflow functionality
2. Regarding the Remota Service, the Company shall provide applicants with functional descriptions and other reference materials for their information. These materials do not constitute a guarantee of the Remota Service’s suitability for its intended purpose or the usefulness of the service.

Article 4 (Environment Setup, etc.)

1. After validly entering into an individual contract with the User regarding the Remota Service, the Company shall perform initial setup (meaning configuring the Remota Service so that the User can connect to it) on the Remota Service’s production environment server and development environment server by the service start date specified in the individual contract.
2. The User shall confirm that the initial setup is complete and notify the Company of the commencement of use using the form prescribed by the Company. If either five business days have passed since the completion of the initial setup or the service commencement date has arrived—whichever comes first—the Company shall deem the User to have commenced use.

Article 5 (Storage of User Data, etc.)

1. Except where the Company offers an option in the individual contract guaranteeing storage for a specified period, the Company shall not guarantee the storage of data entered or uploaded by the User to the Remota Service (hereinafter referred to as “Input Data”). The User shall, at their own risk, back up the Input Data to an accounting system or similar system.
2. We may use the User’s operation logs and Input Data to improve the Service, provided that we take measures to ensure such data cannot be recognized by third parties. Furthermore, such data shall be stored within Japan.

Article 6 (Support)

1. As part of the Remota Service, the Company provides support services during its business hours to answer users’ questions regarding usage and operations via email or telephone.
2. The Company does not guarantee the fitness for purpose or the certainty of problem resolution with respect to such support.
